Camel Ride

| The camel ride was magic. We went out
to the pyramids on our second day in Cairo. It was
cool and quiet. We were the first people at the
Camels. Our driver helped us negotiate a price and
the camel man led us out into the desert for a 30 minute
ride. The driver was
experienced in all types of cameras and took this picture
and some video shots of us.
As we rode out the other camel drivers were coming out past the pyramids.
Camel riding is not like horse riding. It is more like a rocking horse. You move forward and back. If you suffer from motion sickness and are ever taking a long camel ride, take your medication! After the camel ride, we went to see Manyal Palace. One of the residences of the Egyptian Royal Family. It was made into a museum after Egypt became a Republic. Sights
